The impact of climate change in agriculture

Climate change is well-known as the change in weather patterns over a prolonged period of time. This comes with conditions such as long-term changes in temperature, precipitation patterns and other atmospheric conditions.
These changes are primarily driven by human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes, leading to an increase in greenhouse gases like Carbon dioxide and Methane.

Key impacts of climate change on Agriculture
Increased temperatures - High temperatures lead to heat stress in crops reducing their growth and yield.
Changes in precipitation patterns - Phenomena such as severe droughts and floods are a result of climate change.
* Soil degradation - Soil erosions may occur due to excessive floods causing the soil to degrade.
